About Demetris Kountouriotis
My Story
Demetris Kountouriotis is the founder and director of Kountouriotis Physiotherapy Center. He graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy of the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki in 1998. Since then, he has been continuously active in the private sector in Cyprus, building a long-standing professional presence in clinical physiotherapy.
He has pursued extensive postgraduate education and continuous professional development through specialized seminars and hands-on training in:
Manual therapy techniques
Neural mobilization and neurodynamics
Orthopaedic splinting (static and dynamic splints)
Burn rehabilitation
Sports injuries and sports physiotherapy
His continuous training reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and advanced rehabilitation approaches.
With more than two decades of clinical experience, Demetris Kountouriotis has developed high-level expertise in the management of musculoskeletal conditions, with particular specialization in:
Upper limb rehabilitation
Hand and wrist injuries
Peripheral nerve injuries
He has worked with complex clinical cases, including burn injuries and advanced splint fabrication, and has provided physiotherapy services to two of the largest football clubs in Cyprus. His clinical work is complemented by presentations at Greek, Cypriot, and international conferences.

Anna Cosma, a shareholder in Kountouriotis Physiotherapy Center since 2010, graduated the Kinesiology – Physiotherapy Department of the Budapest Semmelweis Univeristy, specialising in Upper Limb conditions and trauma. An active member of the Pancyprian Physiotherapists Society, she began working at Kountouriotis Physiotherapy Center in 2002 and is currently the Head of the Upper Limbs Department.

Evangelia Kountourioti Qualified Physiotherapist, graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of West Attica in 2022. She is an active member of the team at Kountouriotis Physiotherapy Center, contributing to patient rehabilitation with a focus on proper assessment, functional recovery, and continuous professional development.

Myrto Mela, a rehabilitation specialist, has graduated the Rehabilitation Department of the Budapest Semmelweis Univeristy. She has attended hydrotherapy and rehabilitation seminars, and has been working at Kountouriotis Physiotherapy Center since 2008.

Anna Savva is a qualified Physiotherapist, graduated from the European University of Cyprus. She is an active member of the Pancyprian Physiotherapists Association. She has attended specialized seminars in Clinical Pilates (mat and reformer) and has been working at Kountouriotis Physiotherapy Center since 2018, contributing with consistency and professionalism to patient rehabilitation and care.

Natasa Siakalli Qualified Physiotherapist, graduate of the European University of Cyprus, with 7 years of clinical experience and active practice in the field of physiotherapy. In addition to her degree, she has attended specialized seminars and training in Ergon Technique, cervical spine and upper limb rehabilitation, acupuncture, and Hellenic Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (H-OMTedu), focusing on continuous professional development and evidence-based care.
